Mythili Kumar’s live broadcast Naadaneerajanam performance from 6pm to 7:30pm Indian standard time (4:30am PST; 7:30am EST).
This marks the celebration of Mythili Kumar’s 50 years of learning, performing and teaching of Bharatanatyam.
In this performance she offers several of her favorite dance pieces dedicated to Lord Vishnu.
This includes a Pushpanjali dedicated to Sri Venkateswara;
a Varnam – Sumasayaka;
an Annamacharya composition -Navarasas & Alamelu Manga;
a Tulsidas bhajan- Bhaja Mana Raam; and
a Purandara dasa composition – Baro Krishnaiyya.
