The Archaelogical Survey of India (ASI) is a premier organization for archealogical researches and protection of the cultural heritage of the nation. As ASI completes 150 years this 2011, SEHER is organizing an evening of cultural extravagance to celebrate the occasion on 20th December, 6.00pm onwards
Since ASI has a Pan-India presence & relevance–we had suggested three elements to them:
– Panchavadyam from Kerala for traditional welcome of the guests
– North East Folk dance element for 8-10 minutes choreographed by Priti Patel
– Confluence of Indian Classical dance forms for 25-30 minutes choreographed by Parwati Dutta.
The event will be webcast LIVE on www.sehernow.in & ASI’s website: http://asi.nic.in/, 20th December 6.00pm onwards.
