Call for State level dance Workshop/research paper presentation- from Noopura Bhramari Research Foundation

A one day dance research workshop/seminar will be organised by Noopura Bhramari Research Foundation (R.) and Bi-Monthly dance magazine in collaboration with Karnataka Research Association and Karnataka Developmental Board in 20th February 2012 reflecting on in depth studies, methodological research, openings and opportunities in the field of dance and its traditions in Karnataka.
 Themes: Dance History, Re-construction of olden techniques, Media participation
• Sub themes: Classicality, commentary, educational significance, contemporary scenario, social relevance, music, folk etc., (pertaining to the realm of dance in Karnataka.)


Thereby a call is made for research paper presentation/publication by interested research scholars/students (PhD., Mphil, MA). The research paper should be written in Kannada, which is never presented or published before in any other occasion. All interested senior scholars/gurus/artistes/authors including the media are welcome for workshop. Those candidates willing to participate in workshop/seminar should enroll their name. Competent senior researchers are welcome as delegates giving prior intimation to the foundation. Participation certificates would be issued to all participants. Last date for the receipt of abstracts is 1st January 2012. Decision of the Expert Committee will be final.
