Applications Open:South Asian Dance Training Residency at Toronto

SAMPRADAYA Dance Creations in partnership with SAMPAD, UK presents DanceIntense Toronto 2011

August 8-20, 2011, York University, Toronto, Ontario Canada

Now accepting applications from dancers 19 years of age an older for this specialized, two week intensive dance training residency program for the professional development of South Asian dance  * Open to Canadian and International residents

Instructors for 2011 include: Priyadarsini Govind, Peggy Baker, Natasha Bakht, Nova Bhattacharya, Michael Greyeyes, Allen Kaeja, Brandy Leary, Janaki Rangarjan

To Qualify dancers must have a minimum of 10 years of dance experience in any classical South Asian dance form and some contemporary. Must be able to live on campus for the entire two weeks. Must send in a completed Audition package ( details available online).

Fees: $700 ( Canadian residents), $1,000 ( International residents)

Program fees in program costs, accommodations,  breakfast and dinner.

Personal travel and other expenses not included
