  1. I AND MY DAUGHTER(URMI) WERE LEARNING FROM RES.VEENA.ARGADE,GREENSBORO,N.C.
    SHE LEARNED FROM KALAKSHETRA RES.DHANANJAY.
NOW SHE RETIRED AND WENT BACK TO INDIA.
I WANT TO KNOW IF ANYBODY FROM DHANANJAYS BRANCH TEACHING BHARATNATYAM IN HOUSTON,TEXAS

    Dear Vyas,
I checked out the Dhananjayan’s Bharathakalanjali website that lists their student branches worldwide. While I didnt find one in Houston itself, there are a couple of teachers in Texas. You may call one of them and see what they suggest. There might one that isnt listed!
Check the student branches section at http://www.bharatakalaanjali.org/intro.html
    Best Wishes,
    Sangeetha

  2. Dear Jharna and Sangeeta,

My mother Veena Argade still teaches Bharata Natyam and lives in Greensboro, NC. She teaches workshops, and often travels to India, but has not permanently moved to India.

    She can be reached at:

    nrityabharati108@yahoo.com

    Thank you very much,
    Swati
