Natyarangam, the dance wing of the Narada Gana Sabha Trust, Chennai is organising its annual residential camp ‘Natya Sangraham’ for dancers and dance teachers from Feb.29 to March 2, 2008 at Thennangur near Vandavasi.
Bharatanatyam dancers who have had their arangetram and are above 18 years of age can apply for the camp.
Applications will be available from January 25, 2008 at the Narada Gana Sabha office, 314, T.T.K. Road, Alwarpet, Chennai – 18. Last date for submitting filled application forms is Feb. 5, 2008. Registration fee : Rs. 500
Bharatanatyam exponent and guru Prof. C.V. Chandrasekhar will be the convenor of the camp and eminent artistes and resource persons like senior dancer Vyjayanthimala Bali, vocalist Aruna Sayeeram, Sudha Seshayyan and Anil Kumar will guide the participants.

Not sure about which Camp you are talking about. But this camp by Natyarangam is organized by the dance wing of Narada Gana Sabha, Chennai. It is usually conducted in February and you need to apply to the sabha, which distributes application forms prior to the organization of the event itself.

Can some one furnish details about any upcoming workshops or seminars or camps on bhartanatyam in and around chennai and bangalore.

Usually one checks narthaki.com or kutcheribuzz.com for an update on upcoming events. But both of them dont list any workshops in Chennai or Bangalore, currently. If I get to know of any, I will post it here. Meanwhile you could also check the newspapers in the upcoming event or program columns for such details..

no one furnishes details about wats coming, sicne dancers are now started to get accustomed to net, online services, so no one furnishes there, all the details are in new papers and sabha offices, so
it jus goes un identified, only experienced teachers know abt it here and ther and their students get the details,
do u know any details abt parttime course in kalakshetra,
short term, do they teach dancers of age 25?
